Commons Park:  End

Sadly, every walk must come to an end.

One last romp through the trees!

All smiles since we had a fun visit!

Strikin’ a pose in front of the park entrance.

Goodbye Commons Park!  Hope to come visit again soon!  <3

Commons Park:  Climbing the Stairs

Over in Commons Park there is this really cool thing.  Maybe it’s supposed to be art… I’m not sure.  But its a ramp on one side and stairs on the other.  Erin likes going up there because she says it has a good view, but I wouldn’t know because the sides are too high for me to see things.  Still I like running up and down this things!

Commons Park:  Break Time

Sometimes, after I’ve been running around a lot, I just need to take a break.  Usually you can tell when it’s going to happen, because my tongue gets reeeeally curly!  Then it is drumstickin’ time!

Commons Park:  Beginning

Back at the old apartment, we were really close to Commons Park in Denver.  Erin would take me for long walks there and sometimes she would let me off-leash to play with other dogs or run around to smell things.  This is the park were I brought her a pine-cone once.  Lots of good memories!  Here are photos from our last visit there when we were still walking distance.

Excited to be entering the park!  It’s one of my favorite places!

Just from this picture, you can almost smell how nice those flowers are, right?  :D

Exploring and smelling… smelling and exploring!

Oh?  What’s that?  I think I see a friend!

I did!  It’s my black lab friend with the lacrosse ball.  I think her name was Susie, but I’m not sure… it’s been a while!  I miss all of my friends over at Commons Park!  :)

So to review Washington Park, I’d say it’s not our favorite.  (Not just because of the ticket.) There were a LOT of bugs because of the lake.  It also was really dirty with trash all along the walking trails.  Lastly, there was a lot of goose poop in the grass, which got my paws dirty and green.  So… Commons Park still wins by a landslide!

What do you like to play fetch with?

Saturday Review: I just love to play fetch!  Sometimes, on our extra-long weekend morning walks, we go to Commons Park.  Every so often, Erin forgets to bring a ball for me to fetch, so I’ll find something and bring it to her if I want to play. Boy was Erin surprised this day since I got a little creative…

That’s right!  I brought her a pinecone!  Erin just laughed and laughed, which makes me happy when she does that.  She has a nice laugh and it makes my bottom wiggle like crazy when I hear it!
